The Brown Grand was built in 1907 as a fully outfitted opera house by Colonel Napoleon Bonaparte Brown. Today it is a fully restored performing arts venue. A community based historical theatre dedicated to enhancing cultural life in North Central Kansas. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It hosts a variety of entertainers from musicians to illusionists.

Other arrangements for guided tours can be made in advance. Event times will vary.

Admission:
There is not an admission fee for small groups (10 or less) to tour the Brown Grand. Rather, we strongly encourage those who take a tour to make a donation to help support the ongoing operations of the Theatre.

Tour groups of more than 10 are $5 per person. Children under 12 are free.

Events

A variety of events are regularly booked at the Brown Grand Theatre including magic shows, concerts, plays, and movies. It has been a gorgeous backdrop for weddings and even prom photos.
