SUMMARY:Glasco: Citywide Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:City wide clean up 2023\nCity of Glasco\nApril 17-21\n\n\n\nItems must be placed where you place your trash for pick-up by the 17th or they will not be picked up. This is a free service provided by the City of Glasco and the City reserves the right to ride any items for pickup that do not meet the criteria.\n\n\n\nItems must be separated into three piles. Items will not be picked up if stacked together. Each type of material is collected separately due to disposal methods.\n\n\n\n1. Metal: appliances\, air conditioners\, metal wheels\, old lawn mowers\, hot water heaters\n\n\n\n2. Furniture (loose cushions must be removed and put in your regular trash)\, box springs\, carpet\, construction debris (drywall\, used lumbar\, debris left from small weekend projects).\n\n\n\n3. Tree limbs: major tree trimming or tree removal will not be picked up\n\n\n\nNotice: small appliances such as mixers\, fans\, etc. must be bagged and put with regular trash.\nMattresses can be put in regular trash pick up.\n\n\n\nNOT INCLUDED: hazardous waste\, asbestos\, nothing liquid\, no batteries\, no paint cans\, leaves\, grass clippings\, tires\, no concrete or cement blocks\, shingles.\n\n\n\nMany items such as toys\, old clothes\, books\, bedding can be placed with your regular household garbage in your regular collection days. (This should be bagged)\n\n\n\nWe will not accept electronics (TV’s\, VCR’s\, Computers\, Microwaves) these can be put out with your regular trash for pick up.\n\n\n\nCity asks that you assist a neighbor\, friend or church member who might need assistance in placing their items at the curb.
