DESCRIPTION:To celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day”\, the Frank Carlson Library will host a Saturday Storytime event 10:00am on Saturday\, February 3rd. Our annual Groundhog Day Book Sale Fundraiser will also be open in the Frank Carlson Room.\n\n“Buffalo Fluffalo” will be the featured book in which listeners will be introduced to a sweet and silly buffalo who tries to bluff and fluff his way into being bigger than he really is.\n\nTake Your Child to the Library Day (TYCLD) is an international initiative that encourages families everywhere to take their children to their local library. Launched in 2011 in Connecticut by two librarians\, TYCLD raises community awareness about the importance of the library in the life of a child\, and promotes library services and programs for children and families. Join the celebration!

It is also the final movie of the 2023-2024 Winter Movie Series. \nJoin us as we watch two dogs fall in love over a shared plate of spaghetti\, but will they be able to stay together? Lady\, who becomes lost on the streets\, meets a rough stray (Tramp) who protects her. Will they end up living happily ever after? “Lady and the Tramp” is rated G. \nThe Winter Movie Series is free and open to the public. However\, we are encouraging donations to help support the Brown Grand. Concessions will also be available for purchase. The Winter Movie Series is generously sponsored by the Cloud County Chemical Dependency Committee. This is a family friendly\, chemical free event.
