DESCRIPTION:CITY WIDE CLEAN-UP!!\nResidents should place discarded items at their curb (where you normally put trash) by April 8th.\n\n\nNo items shall be placed at the curb after April 8th. City workers will start picking up items on the 8th and work their way street by street. Once they have gone through a street\, they will not return for additional pick-ups.\n\n\nItems must be separated into three piles:\n\n\nMetal: appliances\, air conditioners\, metal wheels\, old lawnmowers\, hot water heaters\n\n\nWood: furniture (loose cushions must be removed and put in your trash)\, box springs\, carpet (rolled in small bundles)\nconstruction debris (drywall\, used lumber\, debris left from small weekend home improvement projects- must be contained or bagged)\n\n\nSmall tree branches: no bigger than 4” round or 5-foot long\n\n\n***** Notice*****\n– Small appliances such as mixers\, fans\, etc. must be bagged and put with regular trash.\n– No hazardous waste\, nothing liquid\, no batteries\, no paint cans\nno cardboard (this can be taken to recycle)\n– Many items such as toys\, old clothes\, books\, and bedding can be placed with your regular household garbage on your regular collection date. (this should be bagged) this includes mattresses and cushions.\n– We will not accept electronics (TVs\, VCRs\, computers\, microwaves) these can be put with regular trash pick-up.\n– No tires
