DESCRIPTION:“The Mighty Ducks”\nFriday\, January 2\, 2026 at 6:30PM\nWinter Movie Series\nPresented by the Brown Grand Opera House\, Inc. \nJoin us for this exciting match!  “The Mighty Ducks” is the third movie of the 2025-2026 Winter Movie Series. \nAfter a young lawyer named Gordon Bombay gets into some trouble he is tasked with doing community service. His task leads him to end up coaching a “Pee-wee” hockey team. Gordon has experience on the ice\, but isn’t eager to return to hockey\, a point hit home by his tense dealings with his own former coach\, Jack Reilly. Although initially reluctant Gordon eventually grows to appreciate his team\, leading the team to face some of their biggest challenges. “The Mighty Ducks” is rated PG. \nThe Winter Movie Series is free and open to the public. However\, we are encouraging donations to help support the Brown Grand. Concessions will also be available for purchase. The Winter Movie Series is generously sponsored by the Cloud County Chemical Dependency Committee. This is a family-friendly\, chemical-free event.
