SUMMARY:Community Health Fair
DESCRIPTION:Join North Central Medical Center and the Cloud County Health Department for the 2025 Health Fair on Saturday\, October 18th from 6:00am to 10:30am in the lower level conference rooms.\nParticipants will have the opportunity to get specially priced screenings including:\n*Comprehensive Lab Panel—$45-Complete Blood Count (CBC): Evaluates white blood cells\, red blood cells\, hemoglobin\, hematocrit and platelets.-Complete Metabolic Profile (CMP): Assesses kidney function\, dehydration\, electrolyte balance\, liver enzymes and provides an overview of overall health.-Lipid Profile: Measures cholesterol levels\, triglycerides and lipoproteins to assess heart disease risk.-Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH): Evaluates thyroid function.\n*Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA): Early detection of prostate cancer and other prostate-related conditions.—$20\n*Hemoglobin A1c: Monitors glucose control over a three-month period\, crucial for diabetes management.—$15\n*Vitamin D Level: Assesses vitamin D levels\, important for bone health and calcium balance.—$40\nIn addition to the tests\, local wellness vendors will provide information on their programs and products and the Cloud County Health Center will offer Flu/Immunizations to those interested.\nParticipants must schedule an appointment for the Health Fair by calling 785-243-1234 and remember not to eat or drink for 10-12 hours prior to testing\, except for water and your medications.\nIf you are interested in a vendor booth space\, please contact Ali Slate at 785-243-1234 by October 1st.\nPayment: Only cash and check payments will be accepted.\nWe look forward to seeing you!
