April 2, 2026 @ 7:00 pm

Manhattan High School Orchestra Concert
Thursday, April 2, 2026
The Manhattan High School Chamber Orchestra is a string ensemble made up of ambitious students who are passionate about their instruments, devoted to serving their community through music, and aspire to leadership. They traditionally perform without a conductor, taking responsibility for expressive decisions and communication. They sometimes memorize entire performances. The MHS Chamber Orchestra has appeared five times as an invited performing ensemble at the KMEA convention in Wichita, has been awarded first prize at WorldStrides music festivals in Dallas, Chicago, Nashville, and New Orleans, and performed alongside the MHS Symphonic and Concert Orchestras at Carnegie Hall in April of 2025. Director Cody Toll has taught the ensemble since fall of 2021.
The Manhattan High School Chorus will also be performing.
This concert is free and open to the public.
